Since 2009, Taverna has been a Flagstaff favorite, welcoming locals and travelers to a casual, inviting table near the I-40 and I-17 interchange. Whether it’s a weekday lunch, a long dinner with friends or a stop on the way to the Grand Canyon, Taverna has become one of the places Flagstaff comes back to.

Our kitchen serves Modern Mediterranean cuisine built on classic recipes, refined over more than fifteen years. Everything is prepared fresh daily, using produce from local growers whenever possible and imported Greek staples like Kalamata olives and Kasseri cheese. The menu runs from shareable mezze spreads and snack plates to fresh salads, hand-crafted pitas, homemade pastas, oven-baked pizzas and big plates. Guest favorites include our souvlaki, Chicken Santorini, perfectly grilled lamb chops and house-made baklava.

At the bar, you’ll find spirited cocktails, a thoughtful wine list with Greek selections and cold draft beer. Join us for happy hour every day from 3 to 6 pm for specials on snack plates, cocktails, wine and draft beer.

Taverna is also a gathering place for celebrations of every size. The Parlor, our private event space, seats up to 60 guests and features a floating bar, 75" TVs, a custom fireplace and lounge seating, making it a great fit for business meetings, community events and family milestones. For gatherings outside the restaurant, our catering team handles everything from office lunches to full-service banquets.
